Welcome to Big Sky Quality Wool Mill.

Where Wool Becomes a Form Of Beauty

Mill Office Hours  Monday & Tuesday  9:00am - 3:00pm

Because the demand for fiber processing has increased and more time for this service is required to work the mill portion of the business,  the Yarn & Gift Shop and Office hours have changed.

We are back at work!  We are trying to get all the orders out as soon as possible.  If you have any questions please feel free to call or email.
We consider you the customer old and new very important to us but the past 2 months we have been rather preoccupied with some very difficult matters.
The mill consists of 4 women, one mother (Charlotte), two daughters (Rebecca & Carolyn) and me (Carla).
On April 13th Rebecca's husband Dennis was diagnosed with Liver Cancer on the 29th be went to be with the Lord.
On May 10th Carolyn was found dead at her home.
As you can imagine this has devastated us.
If we have not responded to a call or email I am sorry.  I will try to keep you posted on your order.
I am not sure when things at the mill will resume but we will get your order out just as soon as possible.

Big Sky Quality Wool is located in the heart of Broadus Montana. Our full service mill is equiped with a Davis & Fuber Double Carder, a Warner & Swasey Servo (Pin) Drafter, and new this year - a spinning frame. We now offer you 'grease to yarn' fiber processing.

We take pride in every process and it shows in the final product.Really_Beautiful.JPG

We are a Custom Wool and Fiber Processing Mill with individual attention given to each fleece. And we will work with you during each step so that you will receive the end product that you expect.

It has long been a tradition amoung farmers and ranchers to share stories to learn from each other. What would you like to share?

Who would like a class?  What would you like to learn? Call and we will setup a class.
