SERVICE AND PRICE LIST We have worked to try to keep our cost of operation down, however; the rising cost of maintenance, insurance and utilities has forced us to raise our rates.

Raw Wool to Yarn (Weight loss is approximate)
|
Incoming Greasy Wool Weight: 10 lbs. Scouring at $6.50 x 10 lbs. = $65.00
- Clean Weight 10 lbs. x 50% loss from scouring = 5 lbs. Pick, Card & Draft at $8.50 x 5 lbs. =
$42.50. - Drafted Weight: 5 lbs x 15% loss from carding.- Carding & Drafting = 4.25 lbs. Spinning
- 4.25 lbs. x 5% loss from spinning = 4 lbs. yarn - Yarn 4 lbs. x $18.50 = $74.00- Skeining
4 lbs. x $2.00 = $8.00 Total Example = $189.50

After each process the fiber is weighed. That weight is then used to calculate the next process.
Unlike alot of mills that use the original incoming weight to calculate each process.
|
Your own fiber will always be returned to you!
